As Christians, we feel called to reflect the example of Christ who lived to serve others. Churches often talk about the tithing of our treasures, but it is equally important to tithe both our time and talents to God's work. There are many opportunities available at Prince of Peace! for people to serve individually or on teams. Ask about our volunteer staff positions.
Altar Guild
Seeking special volunteers with a heart for the celebration of sacraments and church holy days. Join this team that prepares for baptisms, Holy Communion, Christmas and Easter.
Buildings & Grounds
We need volunteers to be responsible for the upkeep and maintenance of the grounds, and buildings at Peace! Your support will help keep Prince of Peace! beautiful. Contact Augie Calsyn.
Cafe Peace! & Connection Corner
Join our hospitality team and welcome new faces to Peace! Help greet visitors at Cafe Peace! on Sunday mornings. We need volunteers at our Connection Corner information booth to handout welcome packets to visitors and help connect people with groups and activities. They will have the latest information on what is happening at Peace!
Front Office
Our church office is often the first contact many people have with the church either in person or on the phone. Friendly volunteers are wanted to commit to a few hours each week to help answer phones, file papers, stuff bulletins, make copies, do mailings and be a welcoming face to our community.
Kitchen
Families, small groups, ministry teams, and youth are needed to assist with our Teaching Time Suppers, Movie Nights and other events. Are you good at set-up, cooking or clean-up? Everyone always has a great time.
If you love the little ones, join this group of loving people. We appreciate your help so parents can have a break and take time to worship our Lord. The days and times vary.
Are you young at heart and you love working with the kids. Then there are opportunities to serve in many areas and with children of all ages. From Sunday School to Wednesday night Kid City gatherings. Kings Kids, H2H! and other special activities and events.
We need volunteers who understand or are willing to learn how to run sound, computer projection, Sunday PLUS, power point and video cameras at our services. We also need volunteers at unique events such as weddings and funerals.
Promotion Team
Do you have the gift of creative communication? Put your talent to use! We are looking for graphic designers or people skilled in marketing, publicity, promotions and writing articles.
We are calling all musicians, guitar, percussion, keyboard, singers, soloist, duets, trios, etc. that would like to help lead us in worship for the Celebration Worship service. If you have a heart for worship and would like to join the worship team, please drop-in during our Sunday morning rehearsal in the worship center at 8:00 AM. You may also join the drama team for short dramatic skits on Sundays and at other events.

Come join us as we worship the King through interpretive dance. No experience necessary, just a heart to worship our Lord!
The Food Shelf is open every Monday night from 6–7:30 pm in the community room. Join us in reaching people with the love of Jesus. Feeding bodies and souls with His living water. Volunteers needed to help stock shelves, pack boxes, carry out, greet and check people in. Build relationships and pray with people.
